It has been a turbulent year for Henry and I, but we are coming out of the storms and are ready to hold our famous party once again!
This year we are ready to celebrate riding the storms and being richer for it, ready to celebrate life, love and relationship in all its colours, and we would like to to share the beauty of the rugged nature of Dartmoor with you.
General Information:
Friday May 22nd
6pm please come and join us for preparing and eating a meal, followed by dancing
Saturday May 23rd
dancing, dancing, dancing...food, food, food
Sunday May 24th
After a shared breakfast, we will go for a walk and a picnic in the Moor. There may be some surprises too :-)
Returning some time in the afternoon to make and share dinner and come to a gentle ending of the party.
It is also possible to join us for Friday and Saturday and bow out of the Sunday walk if you are not interested in the day out on the moor. Knowing the weather conditions here, we will hope for sunshine while wearing sturdy boots and taking wet weather gear in our rucksacks.
Please note:
This year, our party is by personal invitation only. If you have received an invite, please let us know asap if you are able to join us.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Ruth & Henry

Cost:
We will ask for a contribution of £50 for the weekend, to cover the cost of all meals, drinks and the hall hire, etc. People intending to camp or sleep in the pavillion will be charged an extra £5 per night. You can stay in the Pavillion from Friday evening until Monday morning.
Food:
We will provide ingredients for all meals and Frankie will be there to help those who are willing to join in the preparation of the meals.
Venues:
South Zeal Village Hall (near Okehampton) and South Zeal Sports Pavilion.
Transport:
From London or Bristol, take the train to Exeter, change to a bus going to Okehampton. South Zeal will be one of the stops on the way.
Parking:
South Zeal is a small village, and we don't want any Tangueros to park in the centre of the Village. Please use the car park facility by the sports field. Everything is within easy walking distance.
Accommodation:
The Village has kindly agreed to let us use their Sports Pavilion and the adjoining field from Friday evening until Monday morning. If you bring a Rolymat, you can sleep in the Pavilion, or bring a tent and camp outside. The Pavilion has simple shower facilities and a little kitchen. This will cost around £5 pp/per night.
