The first time that I met Ruth was during a lesson in which she invited me to picture myself as a leaf drifting in the stream of dance.
I would like to invite you to come and join us for a Tango weekend in the beautiful landscape that engendered this image.

General Information:
Friday May 23rd
5pm doors open, 6-9pm workshop with Korey and Mila, followed by dancing and food until 11.30pm
Saturday May 24th
10am - 11.30am and 11.45am - 1.15pm workshops with Ines and Ruth.
And Then....
Saturday May 24th - Monday May 26th - Henry's Party!!!
The Party starts on Saturday May 24th, 2.30pm and goes until Monday May 26th, 11.30pm!
Please note:
*The workshops and the party are separate events. It is possible to come to one and not the other. However, even if you are not intending to take part in the workshops, you are welcome to join us for food on Friday night if you are coming to the party.
*We feel that it is important for the spirit of the party that the group is fully formed by Saturday afternoon and would therefore be grateful if anyone coming to the party would please be there by that time.
*Both the party and the workshops are advance-booking-only events! Please get in touch with me to book your place.
*We will limit the number of guests to 34 per workshop and 120 for the party.

- 6pm - 9pm: Workshop with Korey and Mila: Dancing to Modern Tango Orchestras: musical resources for dancers
- 9pm - 11.30pm: Dancing
Saturday 24th May
- 10am - 11.30am: Workshop with Ines and Ruth: Alteraciones
- 11.45am - 1.15pm Workshop with Ines and Ruth: Gancho? Sacada? - Leading the difference between Ganchos and Sacadas clearly. Maintaining a strong axis and a free leg required for both Sacadas and Ganchos.
- 2.30pm - start of Henry's party!!!
- dancing for the rest of the day...with a special surprise: Live music by a mystery guest!
Sunday 25th May
- Dancing in South Zeal Village Hall all day
- Some live music contributions (to be confirmed) in the middle of the day

- Dancing in South Zeal Village Hall all day
- Good byes and clearing up from 11pm onwards
Cost
Workshop Korey & Mila £18 for 3 hours
Workshops Ines and Ruth £9 for each 1.5 hours
Henry's Party from Saturday afternoon until Monday evening £30
Food:
From Saturday onwards, we will all bring and share food. The hall has a kitchen. South Zeal also has a good little village store and various pubs.
Venues:
South Zeal Village Hall (near Okehampton) and South Zeal Sports Pavilion.
Transport:
From London or Bristol, take the train to Exeter, change to a bus going to Okehampton. South Zeal will be one of the stops on the way.
Parking:
South Zeal is a small village, and we don't want any Tangueros to park in the centre of the Village. Please use the car park facility by the sports field. Everything is within easy walking distance.
Accommodation:
The Village has kindly agreed to let us use their Sports Pavilion and the adjoining field. If you bring a Rolymat, you can sleep in the Pavilion, or bring a tent and camp outside. The Pavilion has simple shower facilities and a little kitchen. This will cost around £5 pp/per night.
