Below you will find information on where you can take weekly classes.

Classes for SPRING 2012 will start from January 11th, with beginners as well as higher level classes in Totnes. The venue will be The Mansion in the center of town.

For those who would like to immerse themselves more intensively, there are also events where you can have classes every day, instead of spreading it out over a term. Tango Mangos offer classes for all levels, including absolute beginners

Classes for the Spring term are as follows:

Regular Classes in Totnes at the Mansion: -

Absolute/Recent Beginners regular class:

Starting Wednesday January 11th, 6.30pm.
All spring term dates:
Wednesdays 6.30pm-8.15pm, (this includes 30mins dance practice)
January 11th, 18th, 25th
February February 1st, 8th, 22nd, 29th
March 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th
    Venue: The Mansion in Totnes.     [location]
    Duration: 2 blocks of 5 and 6 weeks respectively
    cost: £32 block 1, £40 block 2

The topic for this term is
An Introduction to Argentine Tango: The basic principles of the dance. Feeling comfortable in the embrace, learning to lead and follow. The vocabulary will include walking in the parallel and the cross system, ochos, giros. We will pay attention to dancing musically and expanding our tools for improvisation.
Come alone or with a partner, bring slippery soled shoes or thick socks.

Improvers/Intermediate level regular class:

Starting Wednesday January, 7.45pm.
All spring term dates:
Wednesdays 7.45pm-9.30pm, (this includes 30mins dance practice)

March 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th

    Duration: 2 blocks of 5 and 6 weeks respectively
    cost: £32 block 1, £40 block 2

The topic for this term is close embrace. Making a good connection in the embrace, comfort in the dance, and nice movements for the close embrace.
February 1st and March 14th will be practicas instead of classes
